Show Notes

Auto-generate episode summaries with timestamps, keywords, and resource links from your transcript.

Updated 7/31/2026

Show Notes are a common companion summary for podcast episodes. Broadcast Cutter extracts key topics, timestamps, and mentioned resource links from the transcript so you can quickly create publishable episode notes.

Auto-generated content

  • Topic segments: The episode is broken into paragraphs by topic, each with a timestamp.
  • Keywords: Important concepts, products, or names that appear repeatedly in the conversation.
  • Resource links: URLs, social media handles, or book titles explicitly mentioned in the transcript.
  • Highlight summary: Short clips from “Golden Quotes” are suggested as episode selling points.

Edit and export

  1. After transcription is complete, open the Show Notes panel.
  2. Review the generated summary, timestamps, and resource links.
  3. Add or remove sections, fix links, and adjust time ranges.
  4. Export as Markdown, plain text, or copy directly to the clipboard.

Publishing tips

  • Auto-generated Show Notes are a draft. Always verify link validity and timestamp accuracy before publishing.
  • Combine Show Notes with “Golden Quote Mix” to pair highlight clips with text summaries for social posts.
  • For interview episodes, include a short guest bio and relevant references in the final Show Notes.
